This after noon when I went to the grocery store I realized it is 'Snowbird' time again... for those of you who don't reside in the wonderful hell hole I call home (AZ) .
let me explain what this phenomenon is.......Snowbird Season comes every year and it is a bitch, it's the time of year that all of the people over the age of 55 arrive from the mid west , east coast and Canada to escape the freezing weather.
Well, since I live near the hub of Snowbird ville I absolutely HATE going to the stores near my house. If I need to run to the store and grab a few things I need to add an additional 30 minutes just to allow for the traffic and over all slowness of the crowds.
The worst part of this is how unbelievable rude they are, it just makes me want to drive an extra 20 minutes away so I can try to avoid the rude congestion at all the stores.
I will resume my normal shopping habits once they have all flown away in April.

My grandfather-in-law is about to make his way through to La Mesa from MN. Last year he started taking AmTrak because of the same reason - all of the slow-moving, candidates for license revocation on the road.
