Just Keep Swimming....

After screaming and yelling that he was "too young to die" the boy swam half the length of the pool today!!!!!

Now just exactly how I got him to swim is a another thing, he had just come off the slide and I went up to him and said come with me and I scooped him up.

Instantly he began to scream and kick (I am convinced he drowned in his previous life)until I could get him to understand he is the light of my life and I would not let him go unless he was ready.

I showed him what to do "just kick your legs and go " and god bless him he can kick I swore he was the motor on a boat the way he kicks his legs and off he went.

It was great he swam like a fish, so I made him do it again and again until he said "ok , I will do it one more time and then let's go " and he did.

Now understand this boy has been swimming since he was 8 months old and swam like a frog so cute for the fist 2 years and then he realized what his past life was and froze up I mean to tell you he would out right refuse to get near the water.

So after 3 long years of asking to him to swim alone he did it and I am so very proud. I will try to get some pictures of this wondrous act soon.......
