V-day Recap

We were pretty quiet around here.

The boy had a party at school and I dropped off snacks.

Made Strawberry Shortcake ( hubs favorite sweet)

Had late dinner at nearby Mexican joint.

But the best part of the entire day was when the hubs came home.

We always agree to skip the gifts and shit on Valentines Day , but this year he decided to go against my wishes and get me flowers and a card....... very sweet but..... I started reading the card and it was perfect ( it went like this)

To My Truly Wonderful Wife

I don't have perfect fashion sense
( by now you're well aware)

I may not always notice subtle changes in your hair
( hey is that a new dress?)

My jokes can be annoying,
though it's rarely my intention

That thing about the tolet seat's
beyond my comprehension!

There's room for some improvement
in my diet I suppose....
( ohhh, look Donut Pizza!)

But I do deserve some credit
for the Perfect Wife I chose!

I busted up laughing , I asked him right away if it was a joke! He sad sorry a million times and I was just beside myself laughing. I actually started to sing happy birthday while he was in the shower. ( this is why I tell him to NOT buy me things on Valentines Day ) It was the cuttest mistake EVER!!!!! He has done this kind of thing before, our first Christmas he went shopping got everything wrapped and when I opened my gifts he got upset that the perfume he got me was actually an oil candle!
