The boy has made a new friend, I'm pleased to say I like this kids mom!She came over and introduced herself a few weeks ago and since then the boy will come home with a plate full of home made Thai food (yum, yum).
About a week ago, she sent a plate of egg rolls and chicken over, needless to say I just had to ask her how she made it. We made plans to get together last night and cook up a few of her favorite dishes.
Let me just start by saying I NEVER have a spotless house it has many hidden messes , but I thought since she would be coming over to cook I better get my shit together and clean it ALL up!
I worked my tail off all day and was so proud to be able to have her over and show off the shine. Then the phone rang ( blah blah blah ), and guess (one guess) where we ended up cooking? Yep, she called to say it would be easier to cook at her house.
We ended up making enough egg rolls to feed a small country, kung pow chicken (oops, I mean pork *wink wink*) and some other dish that was a super spicy pork mixture that you eat with cabbage leafs,cilantro and cucumber. ( so yummy I want more right now )
So since I didn't want my shine to go unnoticed, I made sure my hub knew how hard I worked to get the house cleaned up for "him" ( I know I'm evil).

Hey there! Didn't mean to boycott your last "say hello" post... I've been having massive headaches and been exhausted that I don't come online much.
Back on topic: I HATE when I clean up for someone and they don't come over. On the flip side, I hate when the house is clean for weeks and the one day it's messy, someone unexpectedly stops over. Then they've gotta step over cheerios and toys and flashcards and crap. Errrrrg! (Happened tonight) LOVE IT. But she did give me some really great meds to fight my cold! :)

I love you to pieces but you have way to much reading for me to do in one night. I will catch up one post at a time.
